My kids are freaks. 
I think this is hilarious…but I’m biased for sure.My two favorite parts: When Amia accidentally hits him and they both stop…look at each other…and decide to keep on dancin’! And at about 1 min. 30 sec. or so, when you see Myles just bugging out on the couch. Always makes me laugh.
We wanted to wish you all a very happy Easter Sunday. We’ve gone through some fairly major physical transformations of late, but don’t worry–we’re quite happy with our new “look”. Blessings to all.
The little guy taking his first official steps tonight. Pretty exciting! He’s been up on his feet and scooting around holding on to things for days, but tonight he actually ventured out, let go, and starting moving those feet. Needless-to-say, he was pretty excited too.
Amia had her first day of school for this year a couple weeks ago. She’s officially back in the “school-groove” for fall. It was a long stretch being away from her many friends, but she weathered it well and is thrilled to be once again spending her mornings amongst other youngsters. She is at Children’s House Montessori again this year. We’re excited to see what she learns this year. Reading is no doubt right around the corner!
Listening to Myles try and talk is so much fun. He’s convinced, of course, that he’s saying something truly important. And he knows that he’s starting to “get” it…albeit slowly. You can see the look on his face when he realizes that you are connecting with whatever he’s “saying”. It’s a joy for everybody. Here’s a little clip from the other evening after dinner.
Once again, Amia found a way to get Myles to laugh out loud! In this video we are on vacation in Montana, and he just thinks she’s about the funniest thing on planet earth.
Singing away in the back seat on the way to who-knows-where with Papa. And yes, I should not have been holding the camera over my head while driving…or eating cereal…or talking on my phone….oh well.
You can’t fully appreciate how steep the hill is in this video, but it is! Brave little Amia and I took a long hike up to the top and all around the Cape that day. Lots of good exploring. So jumping down was a nice reward after a long trek.
I honestly don’t know how she thought of this one, but one day Amia got a wild hair (I know, shocking) and decided to spray Myles with the spray bottle! Of course! Why not?! It’s safe, right? It’s just water. Well, in his usual adoration of anything she does, he took it in stride, played along and had a grand ol’ time.
